
Award winning illustrator, Mary Beth Cryan is always current with industry trends, experienced working with art directors, and takes her clients deadlines very seriously. She is a unique professional artist because of her abundance of creative ideas and her knowledge of the manufacturing process due to the five years she worked as a full-time product designer. She teaches advanced Adobe Illustrator at the Rhode Island School of Design (CE program) and is also proficient in Photoshop.
Mary Beth has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University with a major in Illustration and a concentration in Graphic Design.

She is more familiar with product design and manufacturing than most illustrators. She worked full-time for five years as a product designer in fashion accessories, home goods, and toys before starting her own freelance studio. She has experience with all aspects of the product design process from concept development through orthographic drawings, communicating with overseas factories, to final product approval. She has traveled to Hong Kong and mainland China to visit factories. She has firsthand knowledge of molding, printing, and hand assembly processes. As a result, she designs products that are compatible with modern manufacturing technology.
She is often praised for her creative concepts. She has several products among company’s top 10 selling products including the MoMA (Holiday 2008) and Up With Paper. She works digitally in Adobe Illustrator. Therefore, all her work can be modified quickly to your exact specifications.
