Trip to NYC Stationary and Surtex Show

I went to the Stationary and Surtex show in New York City a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. I haven’t been to the show in a quite a few years, so it was nice to go again. I really enjoyed looking at the booths, trends, and it was great to see some familiar faces too! I was happy to see my book, Tooth Fairy Tales – My record of each lost tooth at the Potter Style Booth, and it was also very cool to see my snail notecards at the Papyrus store on 5th Avenue!

My Book is in the middle of the second shelf up from the bottom.

It was so fun to see my notecards there!

RISD Alumni +Student Art Sale, Oct. 9th

They’re not selling alumni or students, silly. But alumni from all over the country come to RISD on Alumni Weekend, and join up with some of the current students to set up on Benefit Street and sell their cool stuff. I will be there with an array of my hand-made goods as well as a couple of my books. Come on over for a grand day in the city, and visit me while you’re at it!

Here’s the official postcard. By the way, those are my birds in the middle!

Details:
RISD Alumni + Student Art Sale

Hope to see you there!

Tooth Fairy Tales – My Record of Each Lost Tooth

It’s nice to see the tooth fairy diary I illustrated  Tooth Fairy Tales – My Record of Each Lost Tooth for Potter Style (an imprint of Random House) is already available for pre-orders! It’s coming out August 10th of this year and I can’t wait to see the printed version of it. It’s a part of the Potter Style Summer 2010 catalog which is available on-line and is beautifully designed. So check it out if you have a moment.
